Group Fitness Classes
Fun, supportive strength classes tailored to your group
Whether you have a gym set up on site, need me to bring equipment, or want a mix of both, I can deliver group classes that are enjoyable, well structured, and designed around the needs of your group.
Overview
At Fitness 4 Life, I run strength based group classes with a strong focus on helping people over 40 build confidence, capability, and long term health.
These are not generic one size fits all classes. Every group is different, so I tailor each session to suit the people in front of me, their fitness levels, their goals, and any limitations they may have.
My sessions are designed to be fun, welcoming, and supportive, while still keeping a strong focus on good technique and proper form.
Classes designed around your group
I can run group classes in a variety of ways depending on what works best for your setting.
If you already have a gym or training space set up on site, I can use the equipment you already have available.
If you do not have equipment, I can bring my own.
A hybrid option is also available, where we use a combination of your equipment and mine.
This makes my classes suitable for a wide range of environments, including community groups, fitness facilities, workplaces, retirement settings, private groups, and other shared spaces.
What my classes focus on
My classes are strength based and designed to support everyday life, especially as we age
Depending on the group, sessions may focus on:
Strength and muscle health
Bone strength
Balance and stability
Core strength
Mobility and flexibility
Posture
Confidence with movement
Supportive, adaptable, and suitable for different ability levels
One of the biggest benefits of my classes is that I can adapt exercises within the group setting.
If someone needs an exercise made easier, I can modify it.
If someone needs more of a challenge, I can progress it.
If someone has an injury or limitation, I can swap out an exercise for a safer and more suitable option.
This allows people of different abilities to train together while still feeling supported and included.
A fun atmosphere without losing focus on quality
I believe exercise should feel enjoyable, not intimidating
My classes are supportive, friendly, and often have a bit of personality to them. I usually like to have some fun music playing in the background, which often gets people having a little dance between exercises. Of course, that part is completely optional, but it definitely helps create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
While the sessions are fun, I still place a strong focus on technique, form, and moving well.
